“If Christ were born in Bethlehem a thousand times and not in thee thyself; then art thou lost eternally.” ― Angelus Silesius
This thought comes to mind, not to contest, but to confirm that our personal spiritual convictions are what make any of these days significant.
Be free from any internalized inferences that my be creating dissonance tonight. May we remember that our big holidays were once scarce holy days.
May we remember that they were sacred for a few before they became secular for all.
Common respect and consideration can go far in the world of developing attention and intentions placed upon differences.
For me it's Christ, all in all.
My Christology has been more than a study.
It has been an ever-unfolding transformative reality.
Personally, today has been great for internal reflection. I hope it has been the same for you.
